coolhand's Account Talk

Don sez we're still in an uptrend and he continues to see this weakness as a buying opportunity. I have been uncommitted to a final position as I need time to continue to gather info, but in my blog I at least wanted to point out that the system did register another sell signal.

There's always that little voice in my head that asks "has anything changed?" Then I have to wonder if I've missed anything.

Believe me, I'm not the only one wondering that right now. So please forgive me if I seem to be wavering. I'm just letting you know what I'm seeing and trying to evaluate information from multiple sources as it comes.

For all the Sturm and Drang of the past week...
We last 4 points on the S&P Index...

I don't think that's tradable in my TSP account :p

I've got a good baseline start on some data from the tracker. Here's a chart showing our top 25% TSP participants and their total stock/cash allocation as a group. I've also included the C,S, And I fund values. This chart begins on 12 Aug and I plan on updating it on a regular basis.

As you can see the all stock allocation is high. Over 85% going into Monday. A bullish bunch to be sure. :D

I like this Chart Better Coolhand..

Very Nice and Easy to Read. So 85% in Equities. That's a good thing.

First Nice pop in the Market's that get the S - Fund to there Highs and

I'm out for a bit. :)

Not so sure we're going to get that pop first. Futures look ugly. :worried:

Europe's down too...

If the market opens up as low as futures are indicating, I'll be exiting the market. It looks a little too ugly right now to think this is just simple profit taking. Not after Friday's bout of selling. I'm inclined to think the SS signal from Friday may be valid.
