It does look bleak. Unfortunately it carries risk for the global market as well. And there's no shortage of other countries waiting in the wings to have their uh-oh moment either.

This will probably continue to play out into 2012, but it can't go on forever before some major changes take place in the EU as a whole.

Profits are being drained from the broader market over time, which is why we're going nowhere. It's a big reason I've become dividend focused outside my TSP account. But I like the idea of private equity purchases. I've been aware of them, but never realized how much better they've performed. I guess that's what happens when you cut the poker players and crooks out of the picture.
