Looks like we may be in a bottoming phase. I want to see the downtrend lines broken on the upside. Thats also getting close

We do have a nice W pattern over the past few days. We may go up like you guess...Unless the 2700-2705 range is now a ceiling.

just got some inherited funds to invest. I am putting them in a Schwab brokerage account. I am thinking of buying some AAPL stock and a few ETFs. I know there are folks with good ideas. I would appreciate advice for things I can keep for at least a year for lower capital gains tax rate purposes. It will be in a taxable account. I think a good buying opportunity in general is coming soon.

MSFT is below $103 today down from over $110. INTC is doing well after a good report but it is really inexpensive with a nice dividend.
PFE is down to $42 after a poor quartterly report but it has had a great year!

Bought AAPL at $217 ahead of earnings. I wanted to buy it anyway and I think the stock will go up after earnings. It should help the market as well.

Well, got back some on my AAPL. I think this will be a long term play.

Bought IWM (Russell 2000) 2 days ago in my Roth account and sold it at the close today. Huge rally and getting near resistance area. I think I'll like trading my Roth because I don't have to pay capital gains. Of course, you can't write off losses either. Not really into day trading but I will play the market some.
I'll be looking to buy again after a pull back here that I expect.

Bought IWM (Russell 2000) 2 days ago in my Roth account and sold it at the close today. Huge rally and getting near resistance area. I think I'll like trading my Roth because I don't have to pay capital gains. Of course, you can't write off losses either. Not really into day trading but I will play the market some.
I'll be looking to buy again after a pull back here that I expect.

I am looking for a pull back to the 200 dma for a test before the bounce continues. That would be a perfect setup. Otherwise, a test of the recent uptrend lower trend line may be enough. Thats not too far since we have climbed back up so fast. Most ETFs I look at are in similar setups.

TSP wise, I'm letting it ride. A test of the 50 dma and a new high are the resistance areas. The 50 dma may not provide much resistance so I expect a climb back to the previous highs or until the RSI gets overbought before a possible sell.

Well, We went through the 200 dma but fairly flat yesterday and futures up this morning. I think we rebound up from here. Apple tested its 200 dma so I hope it climbs back as well.

I AM trying to help. Just bought 2 new iPhone XS max phones. 3 new series 4 watches and a HomePod! I am always an early adopter. Love new gadgets. Sold my 2 iPhone X phones and series 3 watches. They do have pretty good resale value which helps. Its my one indulgence

Wish I could agree with you guys for apple but I have my doubts. Apple has great products but it is monopoly based and the global trend is to head for the open market platforms. I have wondered for the past few years when a valuation drop would occur. This could be it.

Been a rough ride. S fund is in bear market with 50 dma below the 200 dma. C fund is heading that way. I am at a critical point to hold my long C fund shares. The gap down and negative sentiment may mark the low. If we don't rebound today I'll be selling at least 50%.
