Btw, it would be normal to come back down and test the 50 dma from above. So don't be surprised if that happens. It would be a good place to buy too, if it holds the test.

Looks like the S&P gapped up a little. Is that good? Gaps usually get filled but not necessarily soon after. My gut says we'll hold on to gains today. Don't know why exept that maybe those who missed out will buy any dips.
 
All I can say is WOW! What a rally. S&P 2080 is the all time high. I'd say we test it and pull back a day or two.. A break above it would fuel another couple of percent rally. I'm in let it ride mode until the RSI gets to 70 or we break the 50 dma.

Only 21 people are ahead of C fund! Bull markets are tough to beat.
 
S&P has broken out to new high. That's a buy signal. Seem the next sell signal will be the RSI going over 70!

We have plenty of room to climb. At least another 2% before we get the RSI to 70 imo. Even then any pullbacks are likely to be small. Could be another year to "let it ride" most of the year.
 
Thanks for the stats. I'm aiming to beat it one of these years. Happy with my 8% gains since October when I started up my AutoTracker. Wondering where'd I'd be if I was in from the start, but glad I'm sitting where I'm at. Hopefully 2015 will be in our favor. :)
 
A drop to 2075 to retest the breakout would work out well and give us some energy to keep the trend going. My system is still on 100% buy right now. Looking for RSI to get up to 70 or a drop below the 50dma before I make a move. Expecting a good 2015!

The last day of the year caused a little more of a drop than expected. We should bounce tomorrow or next week. My system is still 100% buy.

I thought it was interesting than no paid services beat the C fund! Neither did I ... So.....bull markets are hard to beat!

The last day of the year caused a little more of a drop than expected. We should bounce tomorrow or next week. My system is still 100% buy.

I thought it was interesting than no paid services beat the C fund! Neither did I ... So.....bull markets are hard to beat!

Like you, I'm thinking that next week could be a very good week for stocks. Hopefully we're both right. :D

Two of us did beat the S&P 500 though, which is what the majority of investors judge their annual returns by. Neither of us trade the C fund either, we trade the S fund.............;)
 
Looks like we'll get a test of the 50 dma this morning. Remember that we usually get a drop below before a bounce. We may do that this time. I'll be looking for a sell signal. If there isn't a bounce I'll be selling 50%. Not today though. I'll give it a day or 2 under the 50 dma before I get a sell.

I'm considering a morto S fund because of its outperformance lately and the C funds drop below it 50 dma. S fund is still over its 50dma

Agreed...hopefully the worst is over this morning and we close the day near even in C and S. If we don't get back into the 2060's within the next day or 2 I expect that the 50dma will fall and we will flirt with the 1976-1985 area quickly (again). Just IMO stuff... but I am more concerned with the action today than I was during similar action during December.
