clester's Account Talk

"When governments start making stuff up as they go along the way Russia is now it's never good for markets in the short term".

That will keep up at night.

AND - We bought Low instead of High! :)

Yes. You always hope to buy lower than you sold and I did that so I am happy :)

I hope today isn't a repeat of the last few days where we start up and end down. We are close to a bounce though. If not today then soon.

I didn't quite meet my goal of buying back in $1.00/share cheaper. I'll settle for $0.96, could have pocketed an extra .39 for these last two days. My buddy turned me on to that little trick awhile back, he's made some seroius coin and does absolutely no studying or TA, just sells after a dollar is made and buys back when a dollar is lost. Only a few trades a year, but he has lost out on some major moves up though.

A Dr. (friend of the family) who has since passed away used the $7.00 rule. If he made $7/share on a stock he sold it and didn't look back. One caveat, he practiced medicine because he loved it. But used is MD income to pay his capital gain taxes on his trading income!

That rounds up to a dollar :)

So far today is holding up. If this is the bounce I picked the bottom. That would be a first. We need to move to new highs now once we get through the 50 dma.

He must not have ever owned Birkshire Hathaway (BRKA) stock. It's up $1,698 so far today, but it's just a spit in the bucket. What about a stock worth $1.29? Does he wait until it crosses $8.29 to sell?

Market outlook: jump aboard, it's now a rocket, not a roller coaster - we just experienced the best day of the year so far. I believe there is still a tremendous amount of money that is still trapped out of stocks. Bonds are going to rotate.

Nice Call! Maybe worth one of these::D

Looks like follow through today. So far at least. I am expecting a run up to the highs now. As long as we stay above the 50 dma I'll stay in 100%.
