ok... just one more... loved Aretha Franklin's performance of "Think" in the Blues Brothers movie....thus is my favorite part.... love her pink house shoes. I heard they could never get her to perform it the same way when they did different tales....lol... that's awesome...she sang it the way she felt it every time!!!!


here she a few yrs ago singing in front of Carole King, Clive Davis ad the Obamas. Incredible performance!! Carole king was being honored and she co-wrote it....You Make Me Feel Like A Natural Woman

Also one of my favorite lines of all time in the beginning of the scene, "...We got two honkies out there dressed like Hasidic diamond merchants.."

Her expressions and delivery in that scene were incredible. Still cracks me up no matter how many times I watch it.

Robin Leach, ‘Lifestyles of the Rich and Famous’ host, dead at 76

Robin Leach, a journalist best known for being the host of “Lifestyles of the Rich and Famous,” died Thursday night, according to Las Vegas Review-Journal columnist John Katsilometes. He was 76.

Leach had been hospitalized since mid-November after suffering a stroke in Cabo San Lucas.

Microsoft co-founder Paul Allen dies of cancer at age 65

- Microsoft Co-Founder Paul Allen died at 65 from complications of non-Hodgkin's lymphoma.
-The Seattle billionaire disclosed earlier this month that he was receiving treatment for the disease.

-Allen was a philanthropist and also the owner of the NBA's Portland Trail Blazers, the NFL's Seattle Seahawks and had a stake in Seattle's Sounders soccer team.
