The composer and performer's School House Rock hits taught a generation of American kids how to multiply, use a conjunction (junction), and understand electricity. Dorough died yesterday at age 94.

Actress Pamela Gidley, who starred in the "Twin Peaks" prequel "Fire Walk With Me," died earlier this month, according to The Associated Pfress. She was 52.Gidley's death was announced Sunday in an obituary. It says that she "died peacefully in her home, on Monday, April 16, 2018 in Seabrook." The cause of death was not immediately clear.

I binge watched Twin Peaks last year and her character escapes me. Sounds like a good excuse to go back and watch that "Fire Walk With Me" again.
By the way, if you've never watched it, Twin Peaks was a very odd and interesting show. Having gone to Snoqualmie Falls and eating at the Twede's, the diner in the show, a couple of times, added to the cult following experience.

she was in one Banacek episode pool side, very young and says "like Superman". Ironic since this was yrs '72 before the movie.
