A couple I like right now...

Tom,

Would you view LVLT as a long term buy and hold? With the price it's at now compared to its history I was thinking about holding on to the shares I have for awhile.
No - only because I don't look at stocks that way. I have no idea of what their fundamental picture is, if they have anything new on the horizon, etc. I just look to the chart to tell the story. Once the chart breaks or hits a short-term target, I lose interest.

This stock can be volatile and this may not work, but if you keep a trailing stop under the prior 10-day low, you could be in the stock for a long time should the trend continue higher. If it sees a new 10-day low, you're out.

Bot LVLT @ 1.83.

The open gap at 1.79 was filled. I had an alert set to tell me when it hit 1.80 but by the time I saw it, LVLT was back up to 1.83.
I decided to sell this morning's rally. Sold @ 2.11.

I've been eying the agriculture stocks. A couple look ready to go. Check out POT, MON, and MOS. I am nibbling on POT today at 53.35. (I said nibbling, not smoking :D)

You might take a look at SD, TEX, IPI for some nice gains over the next 6 months - and yes I own all three.

They look like investments to me, cause the charts are broken. SD has the best chart but is up against short-term resistance after today's rally. Nothing wrong with buying low and selling high, but TEX and IPI look like you're trying to pick a bottom.

INTC, HS, DTV, CSTR, VIA-B, TSL

Just wanted to know what you guys think about these. I'm looking at picking them up Monday.

INTC, HS, DTV, CSTR, VIA-B, TSL
Intel has a nice cup and handle, but it has been a dog to trade as it doesn't move enough for me. Possibly a good investment but I don't hold long enough.

Great chart on HS. It looks like a nice risk reward play if you use a break below the 50-day EMA as a stop. Same with DTV and VIA - rising the 50-day EMA and a nice rising trend.

CSTR looks a little weaker as if filled a gap on the way up, then fell back down. Big bearish H&S pattern.

TSL's chart looks broken. This would be a bottom feeder for me, rather than hoping on a good momentum trade.

Thanks and good luck!
