A couple I like right now...

Almost there!

True, but I have a limit order at 1.91 so I can buy the dip in the S-Fund equivalent fund... :D

Edit: Pulled the trigger and put the 20% gain (bought it 5/5) into my S-Fund equivalent (while it's down). Is this like DCA'n???

Nice trade! Now you can buy Apple. It's ready to blow. Or watch CMG. Great chart.

By the way - you're welcome. ;) The first few are free. Once you're addicted, it may cost you... (totally kidding :D) You did the hard part, pulling the trigger on the buy, and locking in a good gain.

Appreciate that, but I think I need to get out of the individual stocks and just play with the index funds/etfs... WAY too emotional about the stocks and I need to get out of watching the market ALL DAY... isn't there a 12 step program for this? :D:worried::nuts:

Apple looks good right here...

I guess I should have waited for the 2nd open gap to get filled. 338 would take care of that and is a place that I would add to my position (I'm in @ 352.80).

Been there, done that (on lesser stocks) so I know exactly how it feels to have to wait for it to come back up... :(

tom, can you play something that some of us less fortunate can tag along? :p
I'll be sure to mention them here or on www.etftalk.com/forum, when I do. LVLT was a nice winner. Too bad it didn't hit my buy price. RMI caught it. I believe it is up about 25% since I posted it. Hard act to follow. :D

But it's all percentages anyway. You don't have to buy 100 shares of a stock like Apple. A 10% gain is a 10% gain no matter how many shares you have. And the commish should be the same.

By the way, Apple is down 3.4% since I bought but still well within my stop level.

i despise apple lol but i know what you saying :)

LOL - despise the stock (chart or fundies) or the Apple brand / products themselves?

both man, they are the most rip off bastard of this world! they create a product like iphone 3 then they change the name to 3GS (hardly any changes) and charge people more for it. ipad 1 and ipad 2 the difference is how thin it is...really? and suckers just get suck in and buy their product.

all their accessory cost an arm and a leg.

True, but they're doing what any business is supposed to do...make it profitable for their shareholders.

atleast google OS got a little bit more variety to their phone and they not shutting themselves from everyone else.

Bot LVLT @ 1.83.

The open gap at 1.79 was filled. I had an alert set to tell me when it hit 1.80 but by the time I saw it, LVLT was back up to 1.83.

Well, AAPL consolidated, fell below the 20 and 50 day EMAs, and is now struggling to get back above them. It must be time to buy because I am now out @ 338.11. I will look to jump back in should it approach the 200-day EMA.

After filling the gap, LVLT is off to the races again (1.92). I am eying another new high in the coming week or so.

Tom,

Would you view LVLT as a long term buy and hold? With the price it's at now compared to its history I was thinking about holding on to the shares I have for awhile.
