I agree with Tom. You are a must read for me as well, just like many other knowledgeable members of this board. Thanks for all your insightful calls, and analysis of the market (even if I don't understand most of it!)

I don't know the rules of the account post, is it possible to have an account talk thread without having an account (no message) thread?

If you don't have an account, your really don't need an account talk thread. If you start talking about all the great moves your making and there is no accountability, folks will get very annoyed with you quickly (me included). Otherwise, if your intention is to have a thread where you do market analysis, then that has it's place in the weekly talk or in the technical analysis sections.

Folks, remember this. Oil can only go up so much before hurting itself. The demand is flat with this mornings report. OPEC knows that if they get too greedy, it will backfire. Why? People will try very hard to cut up on spending. They will travel as least as possible and demand for goods at stores will reduce. People will have less money/capital to spend.This will cause inventory problems in stores and cause them to order less goods and lay employees off. Earnings will be bad. So, bottom-line, Oil will drop and the FED is going to ease rates. watch Also........regarding sub-prime....It will die down very soon. The Fed knows that. All the worst loans have become public already.They(the lenders) are now very cautious with lending to new buyers.

Today, we will see lower open followed by a rally. Watch out shorts!! Earnings season isunderway. Remember that the FED will become more dovish. This is the kind of market where money is made. Also any drop in oil prices will make the markets even stronger. July will become a good month. The subprime news is old news. I was talking about it back in Feb.

Not only do I get a chance to grow my TSP account learning from the the numerous folks who willing impart there knowledge to us neophytes, but we get to in crease our vocabulary.

I promised the moderators,I will not respond to Milkman or insults and longer. My reason for posting is to help the room out and have some fun. Life is too short to get into a pissing war over words. At any rate, the markets closed very green and I look forward to tomorrow. We will see the DJIA breakout into new highs like I said this morning. For all the newbies, great job!!
