add that close to todays close.The reason is because the OSMs were open yesterday. They do not celebrate the 4th of July....lol
 
It seems the Chinese market is finally coming to a head. Although, it was down over 2%,it will spill over in time to the OSMs and the USMs. The Nikkei feels frothy, so I am holding off staying in the I Fund until I see same more data and trading days to by. Time to lock profits for me today after 2 great weeks of returns. Remember, tomorrow is the employment report and inflation is getting worse. Time to be extra careful going forward. After today, I will be batting 7-7 and going into the G Fund for Friday will be 8-8. One for inning to go for my complete game...Monday.
 
Your move to 100% G fund was posted to your account at 6:23 am ET on July 4th. It was entered into the weekly WebTracker for COB July 5th, not July 6th as you state in your post this morning. You have to enter a new IFT moving out of G fund. Are you moving back into I fund?
 
Perfect day to get into the market for tomorrow. I went to the C FUND for tomorrow. The markets are oversold and this is a pure shakeout. The markets will hit new highs and I am sticking to the 14200s level before we see a major pull-back. Also read from Yahoo.com
If investors, consumers and businesses feel confident that the Fed will keep prices stable, the Fed chief suggested, they may be less inclined to act in ways that could aggravate inflation. Bernanke also said that these groups may be less inclined in such circumstances to worry that inflation will eat away at investments and paychecks, and might feel better about longer-term financial planning.

I will no longer take part in that. Many times I am not around to switch it and post it . So I will be posting in this room, if anyone cares. Also, forget the .25% club, more trouble than its worth. I was trying to help out the room , but received too much BS about it. Their lose,not mine. At any rate, this sell-off was based on some earnings warning from Home Depot. This is very good for the market, because it is confirming the fact that real estate sales are slowing down and homeowners are not remodeling as much based on higher rates and lower property values. Bottom-line, the Fed sees this has another reason not to hike, but to cut rates. The markets will absorb this very soon. Also, I noticed everyone turned bearish, great sign. Now watch and see how the market retrace to new highs. 100% C Fund for tomorrow

If you are saying that you are not going to post your moves in your account thread then you will receive more BS then ever before. And you will deserve it. You won't get away with Monday morning QB'ing. If I have misunderstood you then ignore me. But if not you will be gone in the near future.

I have to agree with S&S. You need to keep posting your moves to retain credibilty. Members will try to keep you honest but if they are not doing it in at least a semi-civilized manner - to the point of you being harrassed in your threads - that becomes my problem and myself or a moderator will take care of it. You're an asset to the board so please bring any trouble to my attention as I don't always see what's going on until it's too late.

But yes, please keep posting those moves or you will hear it. And if the harrassment caused by not posting your moves ends up forcing you to leave, it would be a shame to those of us who do enjoy reading your input.

I agree with Tom. You are a must read for me as well, just like many other knowledgeable members of this board. Thanks for all your insightful calls, and analysis of the market (even if I don't understand most of it!)

I don't know the rules of the account post, is it possible to have an account talk thread without having an account (no message) thread?
 
Today, we will see lower open followed by a rally. Watch out shorts!! Earnings season isunderway. Remember that the FED will become more dovish. This is the kind of market where money is made. Also any drop in oil prices will make the markets even stronger. July will become a good month. The subprime news is old news. I was talking about it back in Feb.
