As Epic pointed out, the G Fund will stay at 4.625% for February. Definitely makes decision making easier.Nothing official on the G Fund rate yet but the expectation is that the February 2025 rate will remain unchanged at 4.625%.
Oh so close to my target. Go EaglesI made up some ground with the I Fund yesterday, closing in on my 44.00 target.
Hopefully I don't start a stampede.Blew past my $44.00 target for the I Fund. Should I stay or should I go.
Been good to me so far, already met my quarterly target and premarket looks like a possible friendly exit.
Years ago I took extreme risk in hopes of nice rewards which could be an income driver in my older years. Everybodies strategies are different depending on their current and future financial workings. I won't bore you with my particulars but suffice it to say there was good reason for my risk taking. I still take small swings now and then but I'm not a risk taker anymore. I have a simple philosophy; beat CD's, savings, G Fund etc. 7% is my goal and I've consistently hit my mark the last 6 years. Do I miss the big return hunt? Yes. But not the anxiety. Good luck all.Hopefully I don't start a stampede.
Hanging tough, might have missed out on a decent gain if it holds.I may have jumped off the I Fund train a bit early.![]()
By withdrawing my small I Fund Position and going 100% G Fund, I left a little meat on the bone yesterday. Still feel good about my move for now. I am cautiously bullish on the I Fund this year and at least for the foreseeable future it will be my fund of choice unless we get a meaningful pullback.Hanging tough, might have missed out on a decent gain if it holds.
