White, my dad passed away a while back and to this day...a day doesn't go by when I'm not reminded of him. You've lived a long and great life with family and friends who love you -- that's all we can ask for. I'm sure you'd find the best place for treatment and put up a good fight to beat this cancer (don't forget to drink as much green tea as you can). May God grant you more years to enjoy. Our prayers are with you and your family.

white:

Thank you very much for the wars that you fought to keep us safe at home. May your courage stays with you always. Please stop by here when you miss us. We'd love to hear from you and have a chance to show you that we are all a big family. Please make sure you have the best pallative care. Pain control is the key to keep your dignity. Good luck!

White,

You have not fought your last fight, please keep the faith and the strength that took you thru all these wars for us to be together as the family that I also feel I have in all of the TSPTalk Members.

I am very much into alternative medicine myself, like ebb suggested, I also recommend the pomegranate juice, and I really think that antioxidants always help no matter at what stage of the game your life is. I recently bought one called Beta Glucan, 500mg of pure antioxidants for a cousin who lives overseas and can't afford them, who lives a very good quality life and has had cancer of the colon, and now of the liver. I also recommend books: You Can Heal Your Life by Louise Hay, and Wayne Dyer just came up with a new book, all his books are excellent reading to make us healthier, to name a few, also read about the power of laughter, all the movies or books that made you laugh in your younger years, if you can see them again and again, there's no better cure.

God bless you and we are here rooting for you White! Cheers and come back and see us every once in a while, we are here for you!

I just wanted to update my father's situation at his request. His treatment occurred at TheJohns Hopkins Oncology Center and unfortunately he passed away yesterday evening from surgical complications.

He passes along his respect for your group and his enjoyment dealing with you and most of all he wants to thank each and everyone of you for the hard work and efforts made to benefit the team as a whole to help everyone obtain their common goal. (his words in a personal note). He died with few regrets because he lived a full life where he showed exceptional bravery surrounded by a loving family and dear friends.

He will be buried with full military marine corps honors at arlington cemetery. Unfortunately there seems to be a wait of up to 3 months for those to be honored as such but this was his final wish. He was married for 55 years to my mother and his loving wife whom anyone familiar with arlington cemetery know are buried in ajoining plots.

As a Marine Corps officer he was a firm believer in the following expression:

In order for ‘evil’ to prevail, all that need happen is for ‘good’ people to do nothing.
He believed that to the day he died.

This was a quote he wrote about to his wife and his loving family because it meant so much to him:

Robert Fulghum:
I believe that imagination is stronger than knowledge -- myth is more potent than history -- dreams are more powerful than facts -- hope always triumphs over experience -- laughter is the cure for grief -- love is stronger than death.

thanks to eveyone he shared his limited time with.

Greg

There are no words to express what we feel. He will surely be missed. God bless from one soldier to another.

Goodbye friend.

I am extremely saddened to loose a friend that I just found.

Peace to my brother Marine and my prayers will go to his family.

This news is worse than "Terrible Tuesday!" It's honorable people like him that makes me believe in working for the Feds and serving the people. He will be missed very much. Thank you for letting us know.
