Yeah, I remember that. I'm sure Tom can elaborate.
If I remember correctly, the reason they restricted our moves from Daily to 2 a month was because they said it was too much paperwork to process and it was costing too much. But now, everything is pretty much automated, so I don't see that as being a viable excuse.
I'll go out on a limb here and say that if asked, a majority of TSP Participants would like to see more freedom to move their money around, even if we had to pay a small fee per move to cover costs. This has also been discussed before as well.
The TSP Board say they have the Participants best interest at heart and will do what's best for them, but this issue always falls on deaf ears even though they've been made aware of it.
