Katrina Without New Orleans as a exporting deep draft port, world starvation would increase, because a major percentage of grain is export thru this port via the Mississippi River from the Midwest and speaking of increasing unemployment. Move them outta the bowl, but this country needs this port.

It's why part of me craves for something so catastropic it brings everyone to their knees -- wipes out everything so those in power are no different from the rest.

Thrilled with 9/11? That's quite an accusation and I totally disagree. But everything else I agree with ya. My Dad said let em all fail, because this country has gotten soft and needs something major to wake us up. So you sound alot like my dad about this and I believed we should've never began the bailouts under Bush. Let the chips fall where they may. EPA Carbon Dioxide Decision Threatens Liberty and the Econom

As President Obama was busily traveling by greenhouse gas-emitting jumbo jet to Copenhagen for an international conference on the weather, Lisa Jackson, his administrator of the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, was busy telling the world that the United States government now officially believes carbon dioxide is a threat to public health and welfare.
Jackson's issuance of an endangerment finding, according to Capital Alpha Partners' James Lucier, provides federal regulators "with the basis they need to regulate greenhouse gases under the Clean Air Act." And, following up on Nobel laureate Al Gore's thesis in his book Earth in the Balance, Jackson also seconded the idea that the internal combustion engine is the greatest threat to mankind's continued existence: "The Administrator finds that the combined of these well-mixed greenhouse gases from new motor vehicles and now motor vehicle engines contribute to the greenhouse gas which threatens public health and welfare."
The potential costs to personal liberty, not to mention the U.S. economy, that could flow from Jackson's finding are enormous. They are also potentially without check, as Jackson is now free to propose through administrative rule-making what Congress is thus far unwilling to pass as legislation.
The effort to now prove the United States is serious about comes at a bad time for its supporters. Unwilling to acknowledge that the output of carbon emissions actually fell during the Bush years, they are pressing ahead at the same time their basic thesis has been called into question. Far from being the "settled that Gore and others have proclaimed over the past few years, the manipulation of certain global temperature data points by scientists working on the issue, also known as CRU-Climategate, means the world may in fact not be getting hotter—not that Jackson minds, apparently, telling reporters that the climate data set that has fallen into disrepute as the result of leaked E- mails is just one of several.

President Obama, White House Climate Czar Carol Browner, and their Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) are not waiting for Congress to pass cap-and-trade. Shrugging off the Climate-gate scandal, today EPA administration Lisa Jackson issues a so-called "endangerment finding," paving the way for onerous greenhouse gas regulations to be shoehorned into the 1970 Clean Air Act.
Based on a legal theory originally conceived by Climate Czar Carol Browner in the late 1990s, Obama’s EPA is moving ahead with greenhouse gases regulations under the 1970 Clean Air Act even though in 1970 global warming hadn’t even been invented yet, and the doom-saying scientists were instead warning of an impending ice age!
The enormous grassroots reaction to the outrageous Waxman-Markey energy tax bill passing the U.S. House has slowed Senate progress to a crawl. Last night I was watching a thing about Mount Kilimanjaro ... And the topic was basically about the Glacier Ice Pack on the summit and how it was melting away. This documentary must of been produced before Climategate, as they kept referring to Global warming as a POSSIBLE reason for the ICE melting, but also said maybe it could be that the Core temps of the mountain was increasing, indicating a near future eruption was eminent, or that this was still the retreating process of the last Ice Age...

So I went away from this with this question...So which is it? :laugh:

By hardwiring or hardcoding the program code, they were forcing the model to give them the results that they wanted. That is heresy to those of us that program simulation models. Basically they limited the parameters of the output, by limiting the data array input. Numbers don’t lie, but I guess some people do.

And were going to sacrifice our future based on very questionable data, at the best or an out right lies at the worst and this is just a bunch of liars, that got togehter to scam the public, so they could line there pockets.

Now we'll see if bHo is smart enough to see thru this scam, if not we are so screwed.
