Weekly Account Tally Talk

No wonder I was worried when I finished last (but... remember.. the last shall be first...) I thought that what I was doing was trading by doing IFTs, and looking at Rokid's tally I show as: multi-fund diversified Definition: Passive allocation across two or more funds - no trading.

Could someone please tell me what is the difference or a good source for me to get some education on what it is I'm doing wrong???

Thanks to all and GL this week! :D

You've been color-coded wrong...you're a "swinger":D/swing-trader, according to your no talk account. It will probably be corrected on the next tally.

Well, I always wanted to be a swinger, and now I became one without knowing it yuppppiiiii!!!!!!! ;)

Sounds like both you and FS have a bit of monkey in you also. (i.e monkeys throwing darts--like the rest of us who know little to nothing about making $ on stocks.)

GL and lol.

Actually, I'm doing away with the investment style classification in future Weekly Tallies. I'm sticking to a Return-To-Date ranking of member's account returns, fund returns, Sentiment Survey, and 20% Each. It will also show the date a member joined the tracker if after December 29, 2006. There will be a new Returns Tally worksheet at the beginning of the Weekly WebTracker, and a separate Weekly Tally report that will also include all TSPTalk accounts that are not in the WebTracker (TSPTalk Active, TSPTalk Inactive, TSP Trader, TSP Timing, and EbbChart System).

The investment style, and the statistics that rokid performed on the member returns was to determine if one style did better than others, and how fixed asset allocations faired compared to different trading styles. I do not plan on doing statistics on return data. The new Automated Tracker will produce the basic reports next year with little administrator input.

The August 2007 results are in and Wow! ... here are our top returns for the month:

ebbnflow +8.85%
Aspiration +8.57%
Dr Faustus +8.17%

Congratulations! These are huge numbers considering the top fund was up just 1.5% and a diversified account was up just 0.75% for August. This is what it is all about folks.

If you are interested, please pick one of the prizes on this page,
http://www.tsptalk.com/mb/showthread.php?t=3278, and PM me your choice and shipping information.

Nice job!

There were a lot of big returns in August. To view all, see Fundsurfer's Tallies on www.tsptalk.com/tsp-tracker.html

Links work here. By the way Tom, when do I get "Best return for March and August" under my name. September's days are almost gone, you know. :D:rolleyes:

Tom,

I appreciate the offer, but I'd prefer that you plow the money back into the site.

Besides, my results were basically just those of the EbbTracker. Plus just having the access to all of the great knowledge on this site is reward enough. (Even better, I now have a positive return!) :)

Both links point to the same page for Fundsurfer's Tallies.
I got it now. Boy, I need another hour in the day somewhere. Lately I keep rushing to get everything done and I end up having to redo everything after doing it wrong the first time. Sorry guys!

Here's a guy who has his priorities in good order. Three cheers for Aspiration! :) Way to go! (seriously)

That is admirable, but I do have quite a few mugs and pens in my basement waiting to be sent.

But your reason for not accepting one - because you followed the ebbchart - is a valid one. If / when we do move a subscription, for obvious reasons we will want those following ebb, Trader Fred, RevShark, or even the sentiment survey, closely to refrain from posting their allocations here. It is redundant, it gives away info (in the case of ebb, fred & Rev) and the credit should go to the system. It's actually in the rules currently.

So yes, Aspiration did the admirable thing. Thank you. Now, how about a mug for your honesty? :D
