Weekend Update

Time to take a look at how the Top 50 are positioned going into the new week.

Very nearly split between cash and the S fund, with only very modest positions in the other funds.

I am posting the entire tracker for the first time here. This will be a weekly picture of how all our TSP members are positioned going into each new week. We can see that Cash and the S fund are taking the biggest positions, just like the Top 50. The biggest difference however, is the Top 50 reduced stocked exposure recently, while the total tracker increased stock exposure. But it's not a dramatic difference, just something to take note of.

The Top 15 are holding their position with a moderate stock exposure.

I am expecting more volatile action this week. Primarily a continuation of the action we've had for the past two weeks or so. Looking for a Monday bounce. See you then.

Considering this IS the month of May, are you also considering this Monday bounce as a good time to exit?
I have the feeling these chances are getting fewer and farther apart. Welll - except if we have a `good enuf bounce' then it should keep going up for a bit. But who is to know any of this until AFTER the tsp bell??? :worried:
Thanx again, ch, for your postings. :)

Even with a Monday rally there's a good chance the selling isn't done. A rally today would improve the SS. A decline has the potential to trigger another sell. Our sentiment survey is still on a buy for this week regardless.

What Monday bounce are ya'll talking about?

The market is very volatile right now. No telling what happens intraday, but the bears and crash calls are ramping up. We are due for a bounce however, but it may or may not happen today.
