Okay, speakingof a chart, a few years ago when I was 10 or 11, I had a kid on my littleleague team named Art. Poor Art couldn't go anywhere without hearing,"Art, Art, cut a fart, blew the whole place apart!" Somehow, Idon't think it really bothered him.

Gotta a few priority excel things I'm feverishly working on first. Whenever I give a 'chart ETA,' I find something more important regarding the 'system' that needs addressing. So I'll just say, asap on the charts etc.

Finding coding bugs and implementing improvements may result in needing to restart the backtesting/searching.

The algorithms require lots of computing power, so I'm optimizing the sheets for speed. And, I'm trying to convert the sheets into 'pure' vba code in order to run even faster. Right now, the code just handles feeding the sheets the various parameters and backtesting settings, etc. The heavy lifting and algorithms are currently computed by the slower worksheets. But first,

I ran tests to determine how long, wide and deep of a search space I'm looking at in order to find the most likely-to-be optimal parameters. It's long...deep...and wide. Then,

I had to modify the sheets to make it so that they can quickly and easily handle a potentially increasing search-space with potentially increasing dimensions; while keeping track of any regions that have already been searched; while organizing the data so that proper comparisons can be made in order to conclude, as the search continues, "yep, so far, these are the best parameter settings."
