I just finished the (latest) GDX model upgrade. Now working on the Bonds TSP model. After that, I can do the charts as the Equities TSP model takes forever to process; so I can do the charts while it is processing.
I expect the Bonds model to be completed tonight or tomorrow. I can't predict that exactly.

I take that back. This model is optimized for a four day forecast (Cash account time frame); yet, it trades almost at a daytrader frequency. (11 trades in 22 days in my most recent backtest. Nine wins, two loses.)
I will re-optimize it for a daytrading time frame--two days. This should make it even more accurate, more often. Should take an additional "day" of computations before it's ready...by tomorrow if all goes well.

Thanks for the poke...but I'm woke. :smile:
System uses the High and the Low prices of the day, among other stuff, so I wait as late as possible to make the call.
I'll be adding code so that I can simulate "what-if" prices for those days where we are trading near the high/low near the close. (Not today, of course). Now, I do the "what-ifs" by typing in possible/probable closing highs/lows, changing by a penny each time.

By request, I've added a T+3 forecast.
The current model trades more frequently than some would prefer, as they paper-trade and monitor this system.
Although the T+3 forecast is not optimized, like I would prefer; I don't have the time or computer resources to take on another model under these circumstances. But the current model does output additional information as a byproduct, which I have tapped and modified into a Swing, or T+3 forecast.
So while I'm going to DUST this morning, the T+3 forecast likes staying in NUGT, forecasted duration: until next Monday.
IOW, I have no idea how well T+3 will do. It is not optimized; nor was it tested. I don't trade with it. But as best as I can tell, it should work.
If I were to trade it, I know I probably wouldn't enter/exit a trade until BOTH forecasts agree...if I enter at all--taking into account the T+3 rule time restrictions. IOW, there would probably be times where I would be in cash for a bit...if I were using T+3.
