The market leader is taking a 2% plunge this morning and is now trading below the 200-day EMA. It is danderously close to a breakdown. Something to watch...
Nice little recovery - although the leader lagged the S&P badly.

I nibbled on some TNA this morning hoping support holds and we see some kind of attempt to fill the open gap. It's a small position with a stop a little below support...
I think you'll do just fine. High probability of the market continuing down for another day or two, so we both may be early on our purchase, but I think we'll be making a profit in the next week.
Unless, of course, this down market turns into something more serious. Then all bets are off. :blink:

Birchie is likely to get a chance to buy a lot more wallflowers in the not too distant future (1-4 months). Hindenburg Omen was called yesterday and confirmed; McClellan indicator is supporting the call, per Karl Denninger today. If I play my cards better than I have been so far this year, I may actually do better than I have so far, by years end. Hindy is a crash signal 1-4 months ahead of time, for those who weren't around for the last Hindy's.

Not me! The Hindenburg Omen has been confirmed, that's the predictor. Crash could come anytime within next 1-4 months. Hindy's are pretty famous high-probability crash predictors-doesn't guarantee one will happen. Here's the link. sentimentrader.com says that it's close enough, but for the Hindenburg Omen to be official, the 50-day moving average should be moving up, but it ticked down slightly on Monday. Picky, picky.
Okay, okay. Whatever Tom wants, Tom gets. :blink: The 50-day MA ticked UP today, and created confirmed Hindy today per rules Tom goes by. We're theeerrre. everybody outa the pool-or at least be on the watch-the shark flags are out. next 40 days are major caution zone as of today.
