TSPGO,

Please don't get me wrong. I, as well as others, do not track your moves just so we can compete with you. Many of us do this because we are tracking the trends. It helps us novices who do not know how to read charts, read the market, and have a system (like yours).For me, when I see everybody moving to I fund (like what we are seeing now), we take that as part of a cue to check the I fund and correlate some of our readings. It also helpsme to see who is doing well and who is not so that I can learn from that. Different people have different system they are tracking, but whenI see everyone, with all of their different systemssayinggo to I fund, well, who am I to argue with that.

I like your website and I frequent that often now. You should continue to post your allocation and TSP tracker. It makes it easier for us novices to follow your system and trends...:cool:

I intend to continue posting here. I meant to say that I would remove the spreadsheet because I gathered from the comments that I was not making my entries in the spreadsheet the way it was intended. I just have to go back and read the instructions again. I appreciate your comments and concerns because they help me achieve my goal of providing accurate and clear information to the best of my abilities.

I assume your system will tell you to move to c/s by tonight.
You are right about C. I am not sure about S yet but it's very likely. I'll know tonight once the price are posted.

The C-Fund triggered a Buy Signal on 02-24-05 (5-10 Rule). The S-Fund came very close to it. With the S&P closing above 1200 (strong support), let's take it as a buy signal. Target S&P 1215 -1220. Buy on 2/25/05.

Buy order entered at 12:05 AM (0005 hrs) on 2/25/05

Position effective 02-25-05:

G =50

F=0

C= 20

S= 30

I = 0

I see how your system works and I considered going 35 30 35 CSI, but I had a gut feeling about the I. The US $ had a small bounce from its fall early this week, but it has stayed flat or with little gain. So I canceled my IFT and stayed 100% I even after serious consideration of your sell signal on your web site. It paid off. The I should fair really good today.

I do think you system can save people from drastic losses. Eventhough the I went below the 5DMA it stayed above the 10DMA and was flat for one day. Considering the us dollar and the small drop of the I Fund I felt it was a chance I could take.

Thanks again for your site and information.

I am fully invested in I (40%), however I am not expecting great things right now. It is too close to the upper trend line. It does not seems to have enough energy in storage to keep making new highs.

When the market is bouncing back and forth and we don’t know where it is going, the 5-10 Rule is the best thing. If the market collapses, you don’t go down with it. If it goes up you get to ride it all the way to the top.

I think the bouncing phase for the C and S is over. I think we will see some bouncing once we hit 1218-1225. My plan is to get in now and get out once it hits the 1218-1225. Then I will get back in during the small retracing that might take us back to 1200-1208. Once that minor retracing takes place we should be moving fast toward the goal which is above 1250. ( Some are talking about 1300 and beyond. I am thinking more like 1265-1285 because we lost some momentum in January.)

March will have lots of energy and it should released it to the upside. The trend is telling us so. March has been a good month for lift offs in the past years. Once we reach those high marks (it needs to happen before the end of July/05), it will be time to run for cover. The big drop many of us are expecting might take us well below the 1120's. That’s when I will be counting on the 5-10 Rule to preserve the gains.

Good luck!

Thank you for posting your spreadsheet. A picture . . . a thousand words. Now I see how you make your entries. I'll try again.

Watch Friday Employment Report. It think it will be the boost needed to break the upper trend line and take the market to new highs territory.

Good luck
