330 now. i didn't think it would take so long to get to 500 so we may have lost some of the early investors. if you're still in then maybe reconfirm shares so we can get an accurate current tally.

We had a early discussion of some crayons, you weren't going to color my silver with a gold tint were you?
 
Still in for 5. Trying to sell some old junk to sweeten the pitch to the old lady for a sleeve.

I will also up my commitment to 30 (from 25). I usually buy from APMEX...have you checked with them? :nuts:

all silver, and all funds, will pass through tom at tsptalk not me, and it will be real bonafide silver.

trust me on this, one time when i was a kid i swallowed a quarter, you don't want any silver that's passd through me.

but my 30 coins are mine, and i'll color them any way i want, thank you. thank you very much.

at last informal count we were at 335 confirmed ounces if everybody that expressed interest is still on board. it takes a minimum of 500 to place an order for custom minted coins. I have not started discussing actual pricing of the custom dies with the mint i was looking into and handn't planned to until we get at least 400 and closer to the goal. i also have not had the time to do any sample graphic work, but it is on my list of things to do, maybe that would help rekindle some interest.

Silver is back over $21 /oz. - about 13% above the recent low.

So, that's another $1,250 we'll have to come up with. (~ $2.50 x 500 oz.)


To be fair, $21 is actually still slightly lower than when burro started this thread.

Yeah, baby ! I'm glad I held on to my silver. I almost sold it a few weeks back thinking it was going down, down, down. Glad I listened to one of my little voices in my head. :D

i have not been working the silver deal lately for several raisins:

1, we are only about 65% there as far as being able to negotiate an actual physical mint job deal and everybody who is committed to is already in and pledged at their comfort level. so we either need new participants to buy in, or else current players need to up their stake.
