Thank you...for awhile I thought I was a goner. Had good cards and a lot of luck tonight...it may be the first and only time I ever win at poker, so I'm enjoying it and happy to be a little uppity...but I think I'm getting better at reading you

well the way i remember it was like this...

i had ace jack off and flop comes ace jack ?something? maybe a king. so flopped two pair, now i got to drag the other player into it. as luck would have it, ea has an ace too, with a ?nine? maybe. so i frikkin got this, right, what could go wrong? i push my money in good, hot, and fast. get the call. perfect. got it covered, not by much, but if this plays out then it's over. frikkin another king hits the board and now we both have two pair aces and kings and the board jack makes my pocket jack worthless. chop pot. then i got unlucky again whatever that last hand was.

that is the beauty of poker though. anything can happen, anytime. and the dime is still a dime no matter what side of it you find yourself on. in any event, you get in good and you let the odds over time play themselves out. i would run that hand the same way again any day.

extra bonus poker secret: if you win six times in ten, that means the other player only wins four. 6 to 4. 150% win rate. i'll eat that lunch all day long. also i play naked, except for the pink pussy hat jpcavin hand knit for me. it's lucky.

It was whoever went All In at the same time as you, I had folded. I was thinking it was Gator....not sure... but they were across the table from me (12:00 to 2:00 from my POV).

I know what you mean Gator...haven't had Lady Luck showing up on my doorstep the last 4 or 5 sessions. Threw my fate to the wind more than once over the last few weeks...Lots of A+_ but few winners...But since I think in terms of cycles "That's about to change.."

Yep, Great Song and so is the J Newton one. I think I been learning that about the Queens the hardway. And yes, playing with the Queen of Hearts not smart...actually playing any Queens not too lucky. Seems the Kings and Aces always Trump! And they do pop up unexpectedly.... Last game was a disappointment for me...held hearts too many times. but I do like em! Plus was tired.... Today, going to church and tyen to hear some blues/jazz downtown before returning for the game...tonight? But its good to be busy. Like the song says, Dont let your own wheels make you crazy.... We may lose or we may win, but we will never be here again, so loosen up by climbing in and take it eazzzzzaaayyye! :smile:
