the lady was in distress, needed a burger cooked to spec, whether you 'got some' or not you scored with the counter girl, you delivered the goods. that's what a gentleman does. sometimes it goes unappreciated or miss understood. that does not make the effort less valiant.

i will ride that small world boat with you anytime, but i think you got a much better sweetie in the end.

Alas, missed first two this tourney due to family crisis. Thought would make it tonight, make up for lost time. Sad to say, isp is down this weekend. First post ever from phone. Will play next week, kick y'all's butts. ;-)
 
Great game tonight all! I think it was the first time we got to big blinds of 500. Or at least its been a while... especially with 6 people. Stu and I were both fighting for chips with 4 people left, stealing what blinds we could. The show down was very back and forth. I had a pretty big chip lead but stu had trip A's and toyed with me a bit. The hand that decided it tho... We both flopped top pai J's. I raised big blind, stu reraises all in (has be covered by less than a blind blind). I've got J7 suited.... He flips over J8 suited. I know Im dominated, with the two other flopped cards being junk (2 6 i think).

After the turn, I think my odds were down to 6.8%... and what do you know... a 7 rises from the ashes!!

well played kuz. blinds were tall and we both had to move. not much room for error or weakness. that's what river's are for, i catch my fair share. good game.

silly, you never play hearts? it is the queen of spades what rules the roost, and you better have it all sewn up if you try to steal her. it is easiest if you get dealt Q spades and hold it, everybody always passes the A and K of spades so as not to get stuck. if you hold all the ammo then you run it straight down the throat. the red queen can take a flying leap, just another one trick pony. hold my beer.

excellent game. the competition is getting huge tough. tom plays probably the most technically correct of any human i am aware of online. there are some in person who kicked my ass that are better, but not by much.
 
so the way i figure it, come bout 7 hours from now i kicks y'alls ass. maybe 6-1/2 if i'm not patient. dat's right, git some.
