poker is fundamentally a numbers game, a volume business, sometimes you see what you want to see, other times you see what i want you to see, it's all good hollywood.

does anybody know a good reason to hang in a pot with 9 10 offsuit, see an A 2 4 rainbow flop, call an all in bet on the turn, just to catch a river 9 and beat my made 4's? are some folks just stupid?

No bet on the flop? Any raise pre-flop? If no to both, he probably thought he may have had the best hand. Some folks can't lay a hand down and / or hate to be bluffed, and the all-in bet on the turn had the scent of a bluff (depending on the size of the bet).

But yeah, if that was a small upraised pot with no bet on the flop, then he should have let it go and went to the next hand, even if he thought there was a chance you were bluffing, because the pot was too small at the time. Lot's of assumptions there, though.

made the 4's on the flop, 1xbb bet flop, nothing card on turn, allin bet for 3x pot and all the marbles, called, cracked with 9 on the river. the allin call is what bothers me? but 8 times out of 10 that play makes me rich, just not that time.

there is not time or chips to bluff in those knockout turbo games, besides i never bluff anyways.

this gets me way closer to finishing the build of my light saber, it takes crystals you know. but I would not recommend dating a gal named crystal in that pursuit, you might end up far down a dark path. just some friendly advice.

So PokerStars lets you add the 12500 chips every 4 hours regardless of how many chips you have... That is cool. It used to be you had to have less than 1k to get boosted back up to 1k I think, and you could only do it 3 times every hour or so.
