TSP Jail

No actually, they offer no protections at all, and may even attract the attention of authorities, but at least we're in fine company.

As for honor, I'm sure Tom has plenty.

... I get rather crude and rude on occasion ...

and that's one of reasons we like you. besides, everyone should get a +/- 20 post grace period surrounding actual retirement, it must be hard to contain all that rational exuberance.

Way to go! Enjoy, you've earned it.

merry Christmas to all, and to all a free temporay membership. cheers santa, and thanks for the rally.

besides the 'vote for pedro' temp card wasn't going anywhere.

i'm a little wary of costumed strangers seeking an alternative exit with a bag full of gifts, let's hope santa leaves more at the tsp house than we started with.

i would like to recant my 'free clicker' suggestion. i didn't think it through very well. giving a shiny new remote control to folks who can't afford a decent tv would be an obvious insult, don't want to do that, how offensive. it wouldn't take long for the class action lawyers to negotiate a reparations settlement.

then it would be free 42" plasma screens for all, on the taxpayer dime no less. that wouldn't be so bad because all the purchases would benefit the economy by supporting our manufactureres. oh wait we don't make those here anymore.

of course, those who 'religiously' avoid tv could take an exemption and get the equivalent in coupons for soy-based products, because no deisel fuel or petro-chemical based fertilizers ever go into making those, good for the environment you know.

because we humans are so smart and have all this free time, after we correct the vision problem, we're gonna fix up ole mother earth while we at it, she gots it wrong all these years.

who do we think we are?

Who's banned now??? Birch again? Damn.
I missed the fireworks again in the Politics thread..:(

Hes feeling fiesty these days, aint he??

maybe we need a tax-and-trade disincentive on noncompliant-remote-control media viewing devices, the gubmint could provide free clickers to those that can't afford them, that should encourage more folks to sit further away and relive some pressure on the unnecessary optical maintenance health care costs.

we haven't signed that copenhagen document yet have we? maybe it's not too late to make some changes.
You are gonna need to use your Jail card if you keep posting Climategate stuff here and not in the GW thread..:D

i guess mom was right when she used to tell me not to sit so close to the tv. it's amazing what we knew to be true way back when before all the 'scientific analysis' confirmed it, common sense is all it takes.

the jury's still out on climate change though, maybe all those soon to be unemployed global warming researchers can get to work cleaning up the myopia data for us, tell us what really is causing it.

Love that song.

Great song Buster, but I kinda lean towards Nilsson's song "You're breaking my heart" from the album Son of Schmilson, which is a great album BTW.

well it looks like birchtree did it again. it was kinda funny the first time but now i don't know.

i thought about adding a decimal place .2 to his jail card to keep track, but i'm not sure if that is an accomplishment or a demerit, or if it should be 'celebrated'.

besides, adding/changing someone's card without knowledge or consent, can be not as funny as you think it might be.

anyone who doesn't want a part of it can exercise the money back gaurantee, your number will be retired never to be used again, just like #0910, with all due respect.

also still open for new members, but be aware the cards may not work as intended, that's two that managed to get in trouble a combined three times now, not so good odds there, 3 for 4 if you count my indescretion.

reminds me of a boss i had a long time ago, "one more incedent ..." he would fume, it became more of a challenge than a threat, not proud of it but good fun, all good times must come to an end, was much younger then anyway.

reissuing burrocrat's jail card with current pic,

for lack of a better suggestion...

i've realized the narrow-mindedness of my ways, perhaps i should take a good look around, broaden my horizons, maybe a change of perspective will do me some good.

well steadygain, mcduck, FAB1, and myself are the only ones lacking id pictures.

 And you dont want to go shopping with me either. Have given thought to an avatar before this Jail thread started.
I have to think these things out... it takes a while to come up with the "perfect" thing!

Then when I do decide on something give it a week I will change it.
