I thought I knew this from somewhere, trivial persuit, Jeopardy. The interwebthingie makes this stuff too easy to verify so I am going to let someone who may actually have known answer.

About them melons...yeah I see that the five pounds of fiber is now effectively 2% of the total so 1% is now 2.5 pounds and 100%=25 pounds. I still think you guys must work for OMB:nuts:

I work for the VA . . . but undergrad in chemical engineering, and, even more helpful . . . lots of past work with my daughter explaining Algebra.

I grew watermelons while living in Sumter, SC in the 70s. They grow themselves, must like sand. Took a bunch with me to NH once, no one would believe I grew em.

Now, about that tree. I am leaving for two weeks at Yellowstone park so may not be able to play. Do they have internet in MT?:suspicious:

I find it curious this summer's garden is my first try at growing melons; plants are getting a good start. Must be coincidence.
