Trivia

whew, finally. i almost hate to tell you how long it took me to figure that one out. i had the trains penciled out to only 4 feet from each other, tracking the bird the whole way before i realized they always collide at exactly 2 hours. good one.

Nope..it's not an evergreen, it's Deciduous and that's a major clue about it.:)
I've been trying to answer these questions without searching the web!!! I beleve my answer should have been Bristle Cone Pine, but if it's Deciduous that one is out???

Here one even a caveman can do........

Two trains are 200 miles apart and racing toward each other at 50 MPH. A Humming bird takes off from one train at 75 MPH and flies until he bounces off from the oncoming train. The Humming bird then reverses course and flies back toward the other train at a constant 75 MPH. The Humming bird keeps bouncing between the trains until they crash and the Hummingbird is crushed.

How many miles did the Hummingbird fly prior to Warren Buffet dropping the Fbomb the instant his trains crashed.:p

150 miles that bird flew, two hours it was, until turned into goo.

Regarding what is allowed and what is not, I must have forgotten. Perhaps my memory is bad, and I need a concentrated extract prepared from its leaves.

But then, I also must have forgotten
1. it seems to be allowed to tar and feather others if you feel your answer is correct when it is not, and
2. it seems to be allowed to take the board if you don't like the submission by someone else.

But then . . . this is all fun; and, like the extract, meant to keep our brains/memory sharp. [I'm off to take my memory pills.]

you mean my 'not enough' answer wasn't right?

it must still be your board then Monty.

Enough of these ridiculous brainteasers that would never occur..this is a TRIVIA thread.

Example:

Late in November, ~on a single night
Not even near to freezing, the trees
That stand along the walk drop all their leaves
In one consent, ~and neither to rain nor to wind
But as though to time alone: the golden and green
Leaves litter the lawn today, that yesterday
Had spread aloft their fluttering fans of light.
What signal from the stars? ~What senses took it in?
What in those wooden motives so decided
To strike their leaves, ~to down their leaves,
Rebellion or surrender? ~and if this
Can happen thus, what race shall be exempt?
What use to learn the lessons taught by time,
If a star at any time may tell us: Now!!!!

What am I ?

Great job Gumby! :) 7 is correct! Surprised the heck out of me but they count the ones under the Articles of Confederation which limited them to a one year term.

The board is Yours!:)
