Potatos? My cousin was a missionary to the Aymara Indians in the mountains near La Paz, Bolivia. He ate potatos there over 50 years old one of the villages had stored in a cave near their village. Said they weren't too tasty but he didn't get sick.

I love weird food facts. So here's my next question:

The most widely cultivated variety of THIS worldwide staple food was already being cultivated ten millennia ago by the Chono, a group of people who became extinct in the 1870's.

Oscars are another hobby of mine. :) I received something in the room in which Vivien Leigh received her 1939 oscar for Gone with the Wind.

Sorry Scout, it's been hard to think of fun the last few days. I'll try to do better. :D Here's the question for everyone and it's a two-parter:

This game is too fun. Let's bring it on again. (No snakes, burro!)

My trivia question is, "In biblical times, what did it mean if someone struck you across the face and you turned the other cheek?"

In biblical times if you were of a higher station you had the right to backhand someone of a lower station. If someone then turned the other cheek it posed a dilemma for the person who struck them. They could choose to strike them with their fist thereby challenging them to fight which in effect put them on the same social level. As I understand it this practice was, in effect, asking for equality.
