The Oldies But Goodies Network

From wiki :) A common mondegreen in the song is the perception that, following the title line, Lynne shouts "Bruce!". According to the liner notes of the ELO compilation Flashback, he is saying a made-up lyric, "Grroosss," which some have suggested sounds like the Bavarian expression "Grüß Gott." After the song's release, so many people had misinterpreted the word as "Bruce" that Lynne actually began to sing the word as "Bruce" for fun at live shows.

O....M....G.... ! This brought back a strong memory (and a hard on !) from a junior high school dance... :D

Of course, most Kids (and Guys !) don't like to dance, but hey....this was a "slow dance", so I went out on the floor with the Girlfriend...DAMN !!! Remember it like yesterday...

She later was my Wife of 7 years, until she decided I wasn't fun enough, I guess, and went wild...

...."As Tears Go By".....

Thanks, NNut !!!
