The Movie Game 3

mayday has had us stumped for a month with the last one. So he gets a gold star. What about this one, Who is speaking and in what movie?

"I'm 26, and I'm single, and a school teacher, and that's the bottom of the pit. And the only excitement I've known is here with me now. I'll go with you, and I won't whine, and I'll sew your socks, and I'll stitch you when you're wounded, and I'll do anything you ask of me except one thing. I won't watch you die. I'll miss that scene if you don't mind. "

Samuel Jackson's character in Pulp fiction, right before he recites his biblical reading?

"hope is a good thing, maybe the best of things, and no good thing ever dies"

OR, if the word Hope doesn't mesh with ya...

"Is this the real Ceasar's Palace?"

I really loved that movie. (The Hangover)

Al Pacino as Tony Montana-Scarface

Here's another easy one:

"Normally, both your asses would be dead as f---ing fried chicken, but you happened to pull this sh!t while I'm in a transitional period, so I don't wanna kill you. I wanna help you."

Okay, since I'm the one who derailed this game with my "most embarrassing moment" story then I'll be the one to start it again. Here's an easy one, in honor of the movie's 20 year anniversary:

"Hello. My name is Inigo Montoya. You killed my father. Prepare to die."

(I have Clint Eastwood's autograph. He was on location for a few weeks in a place where I worked, making a movie you've probably never heard of called Eiger Sanction. I was making some extra bucks working in a local eatery that became his hangout while he was there. He was very nice and polite. And he would always send the unfinished portion of his bottle of very good wine back to the wait-staff. )

I can't id the quote, but I loved the Eiger Sanction. DIdja see George Kennedy also? I read Clint did his own stunts in that movie, because he thought it was to dangerous for the stuntman. Is that true or an urban legend?

Clint did do most of his own stunts in that movie. They would even have arguments at the dinner table about which ones he would do. The insurance company wouldn't let him do some of them!

Yeah, I saw George Kennedy too. When I met him could be the most embarassing moment of my life! I didn't know the movie company was coming, but the owner of the establishment had given them a small lounge area for their private use. When I got to work that day I could hear someone in the lounge area behind my work desk (I was the hostess) but I didn't look in to see who the group was. Then I heard a vaguely familiar voice say, "Well, I've got to head out. Let me know what I owe you for the beer." The lounge door opened and somebody said, "Excuse me, darlin'" and put their hands on my waist and picked me up and moved me out of their way! I turned around to give them a piece of my mind for being so familiar and saw it was George Kennedy! OMG! And I said, "Oh! Do you know who you are?!!!" :embarrest::embarrest::D

Okay, I admit I had to Google it.

Clint Eastwood and Gene Hackman in Unforgiven

Now, can anyone identify this quote? It may help to know that I'm a fan of classic comedies.

"When I was a kid, I was the victim of the most vicious propaganda. People told me that money wasn't everything and I believed it. Then I found out that the people that were telling me that money wasn't everything were the people who had a lot of money."[/QUOTE]
