OOPS, I thought I made an IFT but instead I made a contribution allocation, so I was still 50 G and 50 C yesterday. I took a small hit on that. Operator error.:?

IFT (yes IFT this time) to 100 G EFF COB

Figures, the only fund to take a loss yesterday. Had I been in the I it would have been nice.

I believe I missed the deadline. This should allow me to cancel this request tonight if things go south.

No daylight savings here.

That US $ !!! I just made an IFT that should be EFF on 060205 This will allow any bounce back on the I fund tomorrow. 50-C 50-S

So your thinking that the I fund will do good for a while. I am trying to decide if I should stay with the 20% I have in it or leave it alone. Any insides?

Well so far this month: G=+.01, F=+.03, C=+.11, S=+.22, I=+.24, just gotta remember that the I fund has a double edged sord! Is it worth the risk?

IFT EFF COB 100 G

Tennisguy, I saw a huge drop in the I so I am looking for a bounce back today. Personally I think the I fund is very risky, as Spaf has stated, it is a double edge sword. It can be more like BLADES sword where the razors in the handle open up in your hand if don't like you. The US $ seems to be gaining ground and has been for about a month. Just be careful. Look at the historical rates of return on the TSP web site and you can see the damage the I fund can deliver.

I guess we're gonna ignore those "paltry" gains the "I" fund delivered the last 2 years? :(

Yes coolhand you are correct it can be very profitable however, I think it is just a little to choppy to tell right now. Do you have any idea as to why it dropped 66% yesterday, but no drop in share price?

You could be looking at EFA. Several ETFs went for a two for one split!

That is the only thing I could think of was a split. I did not hear anything about it and that was confusing me. EFV and EFA both split.
