Steel_Magnolia's Account Talk

Thank you all for your happy birthday wishes!

Just a glance at the charts would tell me that AGG is the strongest and EFA is the weakest one. But here's a puzzler for you.

Capture1.JPG

Do you see the column to the very right of the image? That is a TC2000 proprietary indicator called Balance of Power or BOP. It indicates where the systemic buying (positive number) and selling (negative number) is. Notice that EFA is the only fund that has a positive BOP number. Now since that number is supposed to be used in conjunction with the MoneyStream or MS indicator, which is another proprietary indicator, and since they do NOT confirm each other for EFA, I wouldn't buy EFA just based on the BOP. But it does make me wonder what the Big Boys know this time .....

Y'all be careful out there!

P.S. for McGlives. My pharma stocks have been doing very well on average. But today BDSI is the only one in the green. :O/

It got up to 107 degrees on our shaded north-facing back patio yesterday so we're headed back up to the cooler country by Bryce.

Just enough time to say that all indicators -- MoneyStream, CCI, moving averages, Ichimoku Clouds, etc -- still point to AGG as the only fund to consider right now. Unless you are the 'catch a falling knife' type. Then it's EFA. But there be dragons.

Talk to y'all again when I get back, untll then y'all be careful out there!

Here are the latest charts.

Interesting to note that, while AGG has been doing well for the greatest period of time, SPY and IWM are starting to show signs of life on the chart.

And EFA, which currently has the worst looking chart, is showing the largest Balance of Power rating (systemic buying). Go figure!

And on a personal note, I go in today for a neuromodulation test implant. If it works well then in a month I get the real thing. Fingers crossed!

Ditto, prayers for you.

But I have to ask... (noone else will, or maybe they are smarter than me) what is a neuromodulation test implant? If not too personal. Hope everything goes well.

First of all, thanks to you all for your good wishes and prayers. And special thanks to you, Norm, for taking the time to find something that explains neuromodulation to folks. I had thought about adding a link to my original message but decided that I was probably the only one who cared what it was. [embarrassed face] For anyone who wants more information, Boston Scientific has a terrific website on the process. Here is a link to an example page.

Control Your Pain - Spinal Cord Stimulation (SCS) - Pain Management and Chronic Pain Relief - Learn About SCS

The process is expensive, even with good insurance. But for folks in chronic pain it could really be worth it. Last night I had the best night's sleep I've had in years. And, unless I jiggle the little box taped to my back that is connected to the wires in the epidural space of my spinal cord, I have no pain. Beautiful words. Let me say them again. No pain! Yay!!!! Maybe I won't let them have the test equipment back when the test is supposed to end on Monday. [grin]

I'm back down from the high country to do some laundry and play with the grandkids for a couple of days.

The equity markets are starting to perk up.

The C Fund's SPY is looking good and even I Fund's EFA is starting to show some life.

I'm surprised that the S Fund's IWM isn't coming to the party.

As for my neuromodulation test, it went very well and if all proceeds according to plan I'll get my final implants on September 18. [short pause while Ann does her version of the Happy Dance]

Y'all be careful out there
