Steel_Magnolia's Account Talk

Re: I'm back home

It's been a while since I posted one of these Market Rewind charts and they contain such excellent information that I thought I'd post the latest one. For newbies, the closest analogs to F, C, S and I Funds on this chart are TLT, SPY, IWM and EFA, in that order.

The snipped chart is blurry to read, so if you're having too much trouble seeing it, the original is at the ETF Rewind blog on the ETFProphet.com site.

Y'all be careful out there now!

Maggie, Haven't heard from you in awhile. Hope the new year is going nicely. Sure miss those cookies and a little hot cocoa

Thanks for all the visits, folks! And Frixxxx, thanks for the 'like' in the retirement thread. And most of all thanks, Norm, for my awesome new avatar!

That mid-day pullback in stocks really stung my IRA account and it made a difference in the TSP picture too. It will be interesting to see if it continues tomorrow or not.

Thank you nasa, and that was very sweet of you, Handballer!

The last six columns at the top have to do with Ichimoku Clouds, which is a little complicated to explain, so I'll just tell you that the lighter colored ones are daily indicators and the darker colored ones (the final three columns) are weekly indicators.

I know this is hard to read. I'll figure out how to triage the information before I post another one of these. I tried to resize and just ended up with two of these suckers. :o

I see your TA skills are still intact "my only regret is that I don't have more monitors to display more, more, more!!!" :)

WOW! Back and in color...lots of them! Glad you are posting again. Too many of the "old timers" of this site (you know, from 2008 or so) have wandered away from posting. I miss the analysis I used to get from my old voyeur chair!

Lady, thanks for posting...and please don't wander off again, OK?
