Now that I'm parking in the Garage.... I'm chillin' out and this one:

With all this bad news, how did the market have a positive finish to the year? Any chance that we hit the bottom? Let's face it after a roughly 40% loss, there isn't too much further to drop (or is there?).

I'm so new to this that my trades only last 1 day. Quick in and out specifically designed to use up my IFT's so I don't cause myself too much pain. I could be my own worst enemy if I let myself.

In this Market - the more willing you are to test the BEAR's power the more likely you will fall to the bottom of the AT....

.... the more likely your losses will be impossible to recover in the same year

... the worst the pain will be.


I'd say making very fast PLAYS is the best way to survive....

If it were LOGIC that controlled the Markets - they would be way lower than they are.

It is the ILLOGICAL - the RAMDON CRAZINESS - that we need to take advantage of - and despite what everyone was telling us...

....I still think it was a worthwhile move - going in during a major fall
and grabbing a bounce that most missed

as those gains are far better than most other gains. When you reap in some gains - especially when everyone else is out of the game and telling you to 'watch out' - somehow they are a thousand times more SATISFYING.

You may come out ahead - as 'buyers' take over when you least expect them.

I thought today would be way worse - expected a 4 to 5% drop with all kinds of bad news to boot.... so ya never know.

Anyway - I hope the best for you

My situation is difficult - because G Fund is like a jail to me and I'm always looking for any opportunity to get out. Once here you're powerless to do anything because the door only opens once a month.

Wow, Steady. You've been sending me back to jr.high/high school all week. First Inadagaddadavida, then As Tears Go By. 2 of my fav songs from that era. first to dance, second to play on my gitfiddle. I went to a comedy show last night to help celebrate a boomer friend's upcoming wedding (where there is life, there is still hope :nuts: (I read Denninger this morning too). The comedian wound up his act with a hilarious performance of the Inadagaddadavida drum solo with paper bags :nuts:. A gen Y'er was sitting next to me at the table, I told her she had to be a boomer to appreciate.

It's so nice having a real sister - to make my home a real home and enjoy the atmosphere.

Music seems to be one of the richest aspects of my life and it's just amazing how much it honestly absorbs me.

Yesterday was tense and with that TENSION came an energy that vibrated out with that strong FUZZ and DISTORTION ... Daa Daa Daa Daa Daa Daaa DAAAAA DAAAA DAAAAAAA Daa AND SOMEHOW was probably hoping that energy could hold the BEAR back ... but could tell he was coming with power. Didn't even realize what song was taking control until the singing started.

With me too much energy isn't good - so needed to take emergency action. SHIFTING TO G FUND - let me limit the damage and tone the energy and with that I searched for a'blanket to wrap up in' and found As Tears Go By.

I'm thrilled to pieces you liked them - THANK YOU SO MUCH for letting me know that.

I had no idea you played the gitfiddle (and you're the only one outside of my immediate family that uses that term). Acoustic is my chill out - folk - natural side; Electric is sheer energy with total abandonment.

The comedy show SOUNDS WONDERFUL - and it's one I would have thoroughly enjoyed. It's easy to imagine the drums (bags) as that is so deeply ingrained in multiple brain paths.

I wind up in the same place you do - when the guitar became the biggest part of my existence; life was wonderful; friends were super cool; ever exploring and expanding.... discovering the wonders of vibes and energy... of life and happiness...

Have been way too busy today !!

Well I hope everyone is doing well.

Am having a hard time dealing with the TSP Site and the Markets in general. It never was about me COMPETING with any of you.

But when I'm in G and the Markets are TANKING it use to be a thrill. So I use to make happy expressions and felt on top of the world - KNOWING I HAD BEAT THE MARKETS.

But now I feel like the G Fund is an Island Paradise and I'm laying in a lounge chair on a perfect day with a glass of lemonade.

BUT it's hard to enjoy that when everywhere I look people are plunging further and further in a deep hole that seems to have no bottom.

So it's strange because I hardly know what to say anymore. When (and if the Markets TANK) next week and those hoping for a gain wind up losing say 5% or so then you won't see any more posts from me shouting a victory of being in G.

Now it is simply either being above the water - or sinking further under the water. But the ones still on land are not shouting for joy with everything going on.

Well I'm heading out to 'Flight of the Lawnchair Man' a musical comedy date with my wife at a local college.

Markets to get far worse than expected.


I began the year with the prediction of a 20% Fall in the Markets.


Now we are in the last week of the 2nd Month

G.+.33%.....F.-.56%....C.-14.30%....S.-14.58%....I.-18.79%

With 10 months to go - I now predict the Markets will lose at least 30%

So can we make MONEY in our TSP Account under these conditions - and conditions that are expected to get even worse?

Absolultely !!! I put in over $20,000 a year. It is not how much you make this month or this year - it is a Retirement Account that is meant to last over the duration of many years.

So YEARS like this (and last year) were meant to be Savings Years - and many years to come are Mega High Return Years. Play is smart and think over the Long Run.

and why everyone is supposed to believe it's the right thing

One World Economy - bringing in one currency will end the manipulations (and staged panics) that have results in severe hardships to Nations throughout the globe

NATIONALIZATION of BANKS - Nothing short of this will prevent the Hedge Funders and corrupt private ownership Institutions from repeating the same mistakes that caused our present condition.

SECURITY - STABILIZATION and the projections of what they represent will bring in what all will believe is the Greatest BULL Market ever.

I knew it was coming .... but never dreamed it would be this soon

A basket of currencies? How is it decided upon? Who decides the percentages? Who prints money? What about the shadow system, where money sort of creates itself, what do you do about that (only worse with electronic transactions)?

Nationalization of Banks: Hedge funds are outside of the banking system, that was one of the problems. Regulation of hedge funds is what's needed.

THE SUPPLY is probably the most fundamental component...

We are speeding to a 'Cashless Society' faster than a speeding bullet

The same ones that have decided everything throughout our lives... the most dominate Economies who are able to completely bring all other Nations under their rules and regulations. Check it out - look at what the Nations becoming part of the Global Economy had to go through (how the rules were heavily slanted against them and the price they had to pay)...

My dear friend - and I hope you see yourself as that - again this has nothing to do with me. But it's funny you should mention Gold. We know LARGE METEORS that hit our planet are the source of our most highly valued resources - GOLD BEING ONE OF THE HIGHEST.

These are excellent questions - and clearly show it will take a lot of planning BUT again The Dominate Powers (the Dominate Economies) have totally ruled thoughout our life time and they will undoubtedly continue to make the decisions for everyone else.

Who prints money?

I suspect a 'CASHLESS SOCIETY' is in the formula

What about the shadow system, where money sort of creates itself, what do you do about that (only worse with electronic transactions)?

I suspect that to the largest degree - The Shadow System is behind most of the future events and will largely be elimated.

Now this is where we might have a 'good debate' - a friendly discussion on what is real and what is false.

In my opinion any entity that functions as a BANK (secret of not) should be regarded as such - and Hedge Funds (and for that matter almost anythiing along those lines) can only operate under a 'Banking System' - so the New World Order would ultimately elimate the Shadow Banking System.
