Squalebear's Account Talk

Indeed, thats what I meant by saying "Short Sheeted". I messed up and
said the FRTIB instead of the infamous Barclay's ! Oooops ! :embarrest:

Thats ok, the FRTIB will never be blamed as much as they should for anything !
I will never forgive them for hurting every TSP Investor as they have (past, present and future) !

Nice to hear from you ! ;)

Trading the (.I) Fund stopped at 12:42pm EST. The $EFDY closed at 16.7315 per share.
If Barclays keeps the deficit/overage at its current (0.00) TSP Cents, then we should see the
(.I) Fund share rise to approximately 20.1878 per share. Thus, the day will end up +2%

Squale

That would be the great !
Now if Barclay's will just keep the "short sheets" for another day....:D

I agree with you on FRTIB..... According to their own reports, trading cost have increased ever since they instituted their draconian rules on IFT's.

Take Care and good luck

:D JACKPOT :D

The final (I.) Fund figures are in. Boy oh boy, what a surprise !

Barclays Overpays the (.I) Fund (when compared to the $EFDY) by a whopping 0.152 TSP Cents !

$20.2821 per share !

The overpayment is equivlent to a additional +0.75% added to our return. Wow, thats what I meant
when I said "JACKPOT" in my previous post. By dropping my (.I) Fund percentage from 100%
to 10%, I will avoid one big payback (large loss) "or" several days of underperformances.

Even if the (I.) Fund has another great day today, that 0.75% must get paid back. Sooner then Later !

SWEET! I hung on to 2 percent of my I fund sold the rest. Ain't complaining

I Fund People are looking at another positive day thus far. :)

Cheers, PM. Gotta love the UDN spike... looks like a potential pop to a 28 handle on the weekly... too early to make a definitive call but one to keep an eye on

http://stockcharts.com/h-sc/ui?s=UDN&p=W&yr=3&mn=0&dy=0&id=p18620940838

Also, possible exits from I fund could be this Friday or next depending if it closes above the weekly BB... although if the UDN/$ direction conitinues in a direction favorable to the I fund, a longer term bullish continuation in the I fund is much more probable (see the inverted H&S forming?) :)

Hey Fedgolfer,

All good info you show. Market's are pushing for positive results today. Quite interesting considering the strength yesterday and overall recently.

S Fund and I fund looking good currently.

I may reduce exposure in C fund. I don't know yet.

Yeah, i'm wrestling with a reallocation myself but want to preserve an IFT for February by holding equities through the end of month -- nice having that extra buy & sell. So maybe a quick full exit hoping for a quick pullback sometime next week... those two day dips really haven't been worth chasing and timing though w/ TSP... however, with leveraged ETFs, gotta love those gap ups and morning sale prices :)

Well FAB, your 2% is still working for you ! ;)

Currently, the $EFDY is up +1.34%. If Barclay pays back the 0.75%
difference all in one day, then your still up +0.59%.

It's keeping my acc't in the GREEN as I have 30%(C) and 20%(S) ! :worried:

The dollar falling (as you posted) will only help ! Good Luck ! :)

Geez, everything is moving like a snail ! I'll be lucky if this even posts !

It's 11:51am and those servers are probably smoking like an old Plymouth ! :worried:

Heck, they're probably smoking more then I use to. Boy, I miss my addiction !

But not that bad !

Good morning SB, I think the Jobs numbers are not that bad just those Temps for XMAS being laid off so I'm sticking with my 85% "S" 15% "C"!!
Best of luck!
Norman

Norm, Glad you stopped by. It's almost like the government Census takers being
let go. Giving your (S) Fund alittle more time might be the way to go. Be careful !
It also leads the way down when the Market is dropping like a hammer. Good Luck ! :)

Yep the "S" Fund will sock it to you in both directions, but isn't WACKO like the "I" Fund it can be brutal for no apparent reason.

Hello Squalebear,
