The Tiki Bar is still open and has been renovated, bamboo can rot! I did have a Pool Party BBQ for my Daughter and family on the 4th of July, rained most of the day but the Briskets were great and a good time was had by all. Forgot about the Smokin' BBQ Thread!!!:sick:

Hey I'm slow Smokin' a 10 Lb Boston Butt and 2 Chickens and it's raining like the Devil, I have a patio umbrella over the Smoker. Bought a little bottle of Glenlivet 12 to celebrate. I'm getting wet here, but it will be worth it. Sip Sip Sip!!:laugh:hic!

Surely, but RedNecks don't drink Glenlivet at their Birthday BBQ next to the Cement Pond!! This takes a long time, I should have bought a Bigger bottle.:laugh:

This is true. But then again add a kegerator and a couple of bikini clad Georgia Peaches and you're in the club...:laugh:

Sounds damn good to me, but the party is tomorrow evening. I'm doing this in two settings, smoke it for 4 hours today, let them cool put them in the frig and finish them tomorrow, it's worked before it will work again. It smells so good in my backyard the dogs and cats are circling the privacy fence, in the rain!!

Hey nnuut...thinking about you as you prepare for your party this evening. Raining like the dickens up here on the Chesapeake Bay. Guess I got the weather you had yesterday. Have a great time at your party and post a picture of the finished product. Someday I'll tell you about the two ducks I smoked awhile back. Enjoy your day.
 
Thanks RF, the weather is clearing up down in GA!!!!!!!!!! That is good news, our friends should be over around 4PM. The Pork is now in the oven at 210 degrees, been there since 8:00 AM about 3 more hours should do it, then I can glaze it with a finish sauce. and back in the oven for another 45 mins! Chicken is done and is good!
