We have had a hell of a run up for the month of April and April is historically a good month.

I jumped into the I fund yesterday because of the Monday buy back. Big Friday sell off because of the news, GS, and most traders do not like to hold over the weekend. The traders will step back in and buy it back on Monday. If not that is a bad omen, Friday sell off followed by Monday sell off. Fear in the air if that happens.

This is a different market than in the day. The traders and speculator are in control of the market momentum. Investors are along for the ride and many of them do not realize they have inflated the market artificially because the Fed had ruined they safe interest bearing investment by keeping the rates so artificially low.

I did not factor in "that volcano in Iceland". My plan was to buy the huge sell off on Friday and catch a buy back rally on Monday. That is typically how the market has been reacting to any sell off on Fridays. The Euro and Pound weakness and the volcano spanked me. Should have played the S fund and I made a note of that. ;) You just can't beat Mother Nature when she is venting.

That's Good!
Tell me, is this sweetie going to make #3 on the `pick 5' - ?
We have MindyLou and Muggley (?), and now _ _ _ _ ??

That would be Little Miss. My son found her hiding on top of the fuel tank of my truck and caught her has a kitten. We had three and did not need another so I took her to the vet to try and find her a home and they turned me down. I ask how much to put her to sleep and they said $12 and I said OK.

Then I couldn't do it. Big bad Marine, but I got a free vaccination out of them. lol

O yea, she is a absolute Blessing to the family and she has personality to boot. Some days she makes me wonder if she is more than a dumb animal. She meets me at the door and has to get some love before you do anything. We have coffee together in that exact spot on the island every morning and she has to get numerous hugs before we start the day. Kind of weird and calming at the same time.

I am not sure I have ever met a cat that could be considered a dumb animal!!
Some dogs, yes, (& I love both, would have both if monied enough!).

My Mindylou is great with a pencil - she can really pick them stocks. I don't let her use the keyboard because she has a tendency to pick out the keys.

You make me want to open my home to another one. Been over a year since I lost mine, had him for 12 years. Haven't been inclined to replace him-yet. Get little urges now and then to go down to local shelter. All mine have come to me as abandoned-lost adults or feral kittens.

Same here alevin, we have only bought dogs to rescue them from poor living conditions or kennel life. We have no dogs now and we are in the mood for a couple. We lost two cats to feline leukemia and have two more, Little Miss and Miss Elvis. Considered getting a ferret but never one in a shelter around here.

Little Miss is napping in the new box Dad got from the beekeeping supplier. lol:D

I take it that you are poised to come off that bottom and make some serious money with your current position. You have humbly paid the price in pain and now comes the contrarian reward. It'll be fun to watch you climb the tracker blowing past the lily padders in a cloud of euroasian dust. Good luck. Nah, you don't need luck - just the right strategy.

Well my strategy of "deer in the headlights" seems to have worked out for me today. What a rally in Europe.

congrats on not capitulation the past few trading days, Show-Me. Hope you get your reward and then some today :)

Although, I bet you feel a little weird being the benefactor of "Le TARP"? :)

Hey, might as well get a little upside for your tax dollars (UGH!)

"La Tarp" ROFLMAO, now that crap is funny!!!:D 0500 and you got me laughing. lol

I just need three more days like yesterday to get me back to where I was.

Show-me,

The other day I sent you a private message trying to see if you are doing well, but there is no response from you. Does anyone know anything about him? I received a great deal of help and guidance from him, when I joined TSPtalk some years ago, and I miss his input. I hope that everything is well with him. Best wishes Show-me!
