I wanted to start collecting silver about a year ago. Just a little at a time, but in my small city we don't even have one coin shop. :(

This is kind of scary that everyone is hording metal. Not what I'd call a great sign of the times.

IMO, hording by the public is good. Gold and silver have both been depressed price wise after we abolished the gold and silver standard. There was no more demand and the U.S. government flooded the market with surplus gold and silver. Now people are getting wise and learning that gold and silver are the only true money.

I'm getting ready to buy some more physical metal this week.

If you have ammo and a gun...you can get money and food. Can anybody say "anarchy?"

Yes that is true, but as a responcible owner of firearms I won't imply anything along those lines I do most of my hunting at Walmart and save my shooting for the local range. :cheesy:

However, it is nice to have the ability to prevent others from taking my money and food. Now if I just had some money to protect. :embarrest:

Or you can protect your family, money, and food when the people that have none of the above try to take yours.

Ask the folks in New Orleans how they felt having the ability to protect their families and property when the anarchy hit.

I got the same problem with numerous calibers, so I made sure my new tool was the same caliber (40) as one of my guns, so I can save costs there. :D

I stock .22, 22mag 9mm, .40, & 762.54 I can never stock enough of the stuff. It's the only thing I've purchased this year that has gone up in value. The great thing about ammo is you can always sell it for more then you paid, and you have plently of places to buy it.

Gold, silver, ammo, and coffee. With these items you can rule the world :cheesy:

Me too, I am trying to limit my calibers to 12 ga, .303, .410, .223, .45 auto, .45 Colt, .35 Remington, .357, and a mother lode of .22 plinker rounds.

Crap, now I know why I am broke all the time. lol
