Look at yesterday. Asia closed up big and Europe was strong, but the NYSE bounced around and then arounf 2 o'clock the sellers jump in and sank the ship.

A fellow could get seasick riding this market up and down. Glad to be on the lily pad for the time being. Seems all the rules are out the window.

why does Tom discourage allocations to the L funds along with the G,F,C,S and I funds? What is the advantage dispersing the allocations to every selection available?

At one time they didn't track the L funds on the autotracker so if you wanted to be tracked you had to limit yourself to the GFCSI funds. Also one of the points of this site is to be more active in managing your account and the L funds tend to be more accommodating to buy and hold mind set. But it doesn't really matter just do as you like, the L funds do just as well as the other funds on average. IMHO

It seems to have become a habit. One I wish we could break. Somebody have a body patch to attach to the S&P. :nuts:
