Rod's Account Talk

Good Luck, Rod!

Depending on where you're assigned and your job, you might actually get a decent internet connection. I had plenty of connectivity back in '04.

Thanx for all of the well wishes!

As was said, I should have access to internet connection from time to time.

I'll check in when I can.

God Bless:)

Stay safe and remember your TSP ceiling just went to $44,000. It's not the kind of blessing you want, but it may help ease the burden. Take care.

Rod,

Take care my friend!.........:)
Keep the bullets and beans flowing!.......;)
That is if the President and Congress can come to terms.
Remember! Don't ever volunteer for anything!
What starts out as a good idea can turn to #%*$......:suspicious:

You will be missed. May God Bless you and keep you! Our prayers are with you and all our troops. Always remember God's Sovereign Grace!

Rod,

Have fun. If you give a native a bottle of water to wash his hands....let 'em keep it....don't take it back.

Remember those emotions folks...

If you're in, you may want to consider simply riding it out instead of selling it off.

Heck, look how quickly we gained back Feb's losses.

We learn lessons over time, and one of those is patience pays... whether you are IN or OUT of the market.

I'm staying out (may play F) for the foreseeable future... at least through Aug.

God Bless & Good luck!

In times like this, I like to reflect upon the last 12 months earnings rather than the YTD figures. It often helps to relieve the angst and anxiety one feels watching their retirement run off the cliff...

Really, this is noise in the long run. Last year I rode the whole thing down, and ended up 19%+ by the end of the year. So, take heart.

We may see a couple more down days yet... but as Birch says, "Sit tight and stay right".

I totally agree. I plan on jumping in fully stock for the rest of the year sometime in August. This fire and forget allocation will also be in effect for next year. It seems that the "TO DO LIST" are getting longer and longer as the deployment dates get closer.

Remember Pointman72 last year? He jumped in to S fund sometime in August and stayed there until sometime in Nov and kicked everyones behind? This market is beginning to look something like that.

Still relax'n in (G) until this storm runs outta steam...

Japan got hit really hard again, and China is already down nearly 3.5%.

Gonna be nasty for the (I) Fund.

Congrats for being in the G fund. Have you adopted that little girl yet? I think it was a little girl...........

Still 100 (G)!:)

BTW, my Wife and I will be traveling within a couple months to China to bring our daughter home! God is faithful.:)
