Wow, what a day !! I am mostly short in my IRA (TZA, 3x Short Russell 2000 Index) and the pucker factor

spiked seriously at 1003 this morning... Well, by the end of the day, I was basically back where I was at COB yesterday; go figure.

Ok, now, about the OCD... there was a lot of shifting around today. I saw IFTs flying off the shelves over the last 2 days. People going to safety, some going short, some going long; wow. Dave's 10 Month M-SMA went long, James' LMBF went short, and drum-roll... the Long-Short Timing model went long QQQ. All of this shifting has done, well, made a stronger buy signal... which now means a stronger short signal

That was a good read - however, I don't believe a word of it. That Abby is a babe. But only a mere technician interpreting the past. Better day ahead.
 
All I want to do is end up positive on the week and make that next week too. You might expect a rally into the close today just for fun.

Same signal different day... Buy Buy Buy.

No systems changed, and seasonality going down 9% (goes down 18% Friday/Monday) didn't make a difference in the signal.

The S&P has been trading within an 8 point range for 5 days. Is this consolidation for another push up to break the high, or are bulls losing steam and bears looking for an opening?

Only Time Will Tell.

'In a bull market you should expect bullish results.' And in an election year, you should expect bullish results. I'm stayin all in!! :cool:
 
WooHoo, the world is saved !!! Spain actually sold all the bonds they had up for auction (just cost them more in yield), ECB leaves lending rates alone, GM is the greatest success story out there with the release of their current results, and most importantly our no-raise paychecks buy more good and services than they did just 3 years ago !!!

SPX 1500 or Bust !!!
