Yes... and then again Yellin is testifying this morning to Congress. Its a mix of things but a downgrade to banks is definitely not good. I wonder what that sector looks like this morning. might look at that later tonight just to see how much of the drop today came from that financial sector.

Lol well I'm staying in hope we rise tomorrow to end the week :) I just don't want to take a loss if it goes up or use an IFT this early. Good luck to all.

Someone has found another way to steel our money again? I don't know, but I really hate it when our bond fund goes down in sync with equities. We really need an index that is more contrarian to our equity funds than this.

Sounds like Yellien's cheery outlook on economy = rate hike. Market pricing that in. Notice prices started dropping around 11am Eastern..near time Yellen spoke at luncheon on Wednesday. Then today, reportedly cheery talk before Congress.
 
From this day forward:

I will use stops on ALL trades
No matter how frequently I get stopped out.

I am SO tired of losing so much by staying in losing trades.

2. WHY: The President signed into law the National Defense Authorization Act of 2016.
3. WHO:
-- Will affect our junior Sailors in the near future (31 December 2017, members with fewer than 12 years).
-- Members currently serving will be grandfathered under the present military retirement system.
4. WHEN:
-- The new retirement system takes effect on 1 January 2018, which will provide "portable" retirement benefits for those that serve less than 20 years of service.
5. HOW:
-- On 31 December 2017, members with fewer than 12 years of service will have the option to remain in the current retirement system or opt into the blended military retirement system.
-- After 1 January 2018, new members entering the service will automatically be enrolled into the new retirement system.

I feel you my brother. 2015 has been unkind indeed. Perhaps a change in strategy is in order.
 
I feel like i have been on a roller coaster the second half of this year.
I held out a.long time looking for the rebound that didn't come!
Was up over 10K and in top 10 for a good while. Top 50 for half year before floor fell out.
Try again next year and take my modest 10% into next year.
Picked up just over 1 today after dipping in at right time!

In UPRO finally thinking we have at least SOME bounce from here...

Not going to touch NUGT unless it falls below 23 again today... If not , will wait for peak to get in DUST...
