Placed stop, and in 4 mins, got stopped out... time for it to bounce.

Done trading until Monday or I risk PDT

Sooo glad I am done for the week. Craziness and I don't see an imminent direction. Going out of town for the week-end, no worries about the market, so I will take another look on Sunday night :)

I hope everyone is doing well, set your stops, "emotions are out" (the HARDEST thing to do), trade paper until you figure it out (TDA lets you do real time paper trading for free), and do what works for YOU.
 
In NUGT after hours at 34.82, small position...

Hoping for a bounce more because of a positive move in the market than in gold. There is some support in GDX, but I wouldn't be surprised if it went down a little more. Will top off my position if it drops on Monday...

Great couple days for day traders, but I have been stopped out break even both days on swing trades... so, looks like this week's goal is not going to happen; however, there are 3 days left...

Who knows...

I don't knoooow. The charts I see show that the intraday swings in GDX over the last couple of days have been subdued, compared to typical[ly "good"] GDX [swings]. It's the swings that equate to "great percentage move potential." No swings--and we might as well be trading something more predictable.

Been bleeding money since the market opened... Looks like I might need to make my goal x2 in 2 days with todays action...

Probably about to get stopped out to minimize my losses. I wish Yellen would quit yellin'

Yup, stopped out... time for it to bounce and probably bounce hard... happens all the time :nuts:
 
Based on today's results it looks like you made the right move. Curious to know what you are using for your stops? Percentage or just a fixed amount and how much. I hope tomorrow brings better action as the corners of my paper are curled up right now.

6% if I am nervous, 10% if I am feeling brave (or a reversal is actually possible)...

Will hit the charts tonite after work and see what is out there for GDX... It did close below it's 50 DMA, which isn't good, but only by 2 cents...
