Even with a few losses (-19%, -8%, -22%, -37%, all from Jul-Sep (made adjustments to the plan)), I have still managed to make 73% since July 8th when I made my decision to minimize losing money. Very small account, but wanting to build it up as much as I can between deployments up until retirement.

Lets see if I can continue and minimize losses in an effort to preserve capital... I am being risky, but methodical about it... have a plan and stick to it...

May be true, but until I can come up with consistency, I don't want anyone to think what I do is a good idea and try it themselves. I am not as brave as you and I would feel real bad if someone actually thought I knew what I was doing and they lost money...

My TDA account balance growing is all the proof I need... believe me, I have a huge hole to dig myself out of... if I provided that information, that would be proof of how stupid I really am...

I am working towards something that works for me, swing trading while minimizing risk. Right now is good because of the volatility. I may lay off when a strong pattern up or down (I believe down) comes so I can adjust for a different market behavior.

You shouldn't feel bad. Post your results. Post your disclaimers. Post that your trades shouldn't be followed. And if someone still wants to follow you, that's on them. :)

No one's holding a gun to my head to follow anyone's investment advice, that's the beauty of free-will. If we decide to follow someone else and it doesn't work out, that's on the person making the move. :)
 
Today's pop in NUGT easily put me above my weekly goal (sold at 48.60 from 42.66 entry on Monday), even using a smaller position... wish I had gone all in, but I guess its a trust thing...

3 weeks in a row meeting my "paper" goal... I hope this keeps up :) Total gain is now 82%

Didn't really want to be holding anything this afternoon, so I will just watch the fireworks from the sidelines.

Done for the week, now I can focus on something else... I don't know, like work???? ;)

P.S. Glad my Account Talk thread is back...

Couldn't help myself...

Jumped back in NUGT at 39.70

COMPLETELY speculation (lots of support on GDX, range bound for last couple weeks, over reaction to Fed) and used a small position...

Any bounce will be rewarded with an inthemoney stop.

Praying...
