Almost pulled off the 60 day in the "S" fund. Been in the fund for a month and ten days. Sure dug me out of the hole I fell in.
 
Wow, brutal day if you were in equities today or great buying opportunity if you weren't. Today's action will definitely effect the best fund/worst fund this evening. I'll make sure to post results later this evening.

I am a little surprised that the "I fund is the best fund for the last 15 days.

True. The "I" fund has trailed the American markets for years and it looked like a couple of years ago it was going to make it's move. But then the trade wars started and it never evolved. Of course the American market kept a steady course as it has for years.
 
Over the past 15 trading days, there were a number of days where C and S funds finished the day negative while the I fund was positive. In addition when all three funds were negative, the I fund did not suffer as large of a loss. All that put it in the lead, but it has been flip flopping with the S fund recently for the title of Best Fund over the past 15 days.

Thought about a partial entry last Thursday but around cut off time the market was rallying pretty good. Who knew it would come off the highs to finish at a decent buy in price.

Probably making the same mistake again today.

Standing by and looking for an entry point...:nuts:
 
What is your criteria for an entry point? Are you just looking for a day where at 1130 it looks like the market will be down for the day? You are posting the 15 day and 60 day winners and losers - would an entry point be into a fund that is down several percentage points over the past 15 days?

Actually my entry points are defined by the 13 EMA crossing above the 20 MA. The sell signal occurs when the 13 EMA crosses below the 20 MA. The 13 EMA crossed above the 20 MA yesterday in both the C and S funds. Therefore I am submitting my first IFT for July 50% G fund, 25% C fund and 25% S fund, eff COB today. As for the best fund/worst fund data, I look at it, but it is not a major factor in my moves.

So that is my simple method for getting in and out of the market. However I belong to one of the premium services but do not always follow the recommended buy and sell signals. Any move I post on my thread is my own move. I do not post buy and sell signals provided by my premium service if I decide to follow it.

Well, well, well. Waiting to submit an IFT today, instead of yesterday gave me a much better entry price. Hopefully this was just a one day pause and we continue higher from here.
