So the post on JPCavin's Account talk got my curiosity up today and wow, I can't believe it has been two years since burro's passing. Memories came flooding back as I read many of the posts and I thought how much I missed burro's wit. Of course my fondest memory is when burro and I had a bet, my Ravens against his Eagles. He put up a silver TSPTalk coin and I a bottle of Maryland Rye. Of course my Ravens won and true to his word, burro sent me the coin. It is proudly displayed in a display case with my challenge coins. Burro really had his heart set on obtaining the Maryland Rye and PM'd me that he would send me enough money to purchase and ship a bottle of rye to him. I thought wow, what a trusting person. Not many of those left in this world. I've got to take care of this guy. Anyway, I made the purchase and shipment, checked with him a few weeks later to find out how he liked the rye and what he thought of it. His response was that it was "some concoction of Witches brew". He never did fess up if he liked it or not and left me to wonder.

I purchased a bottle of the same rye for my liquor cabinet thinking I would buy it for a special occasion. It is still unopened, but every time I see that bottle, I think of burro.

Rest in peace burro. You are missed, but your memory is alive and well here at TSPTalk.:headbang:
