S&P 500 Daily: Aug Trading Day 16 produced a Strong Buy Signal with a Low Pattern Count.
A Strong Buy Signal is designed to capture the Top-15% of Global Scores, based on the performance of the 13-Pattern Groups.
Not that it's easy to get an edge on a daily signal within the constraints of the IFT System.
To compensate, we can look to the 3-Bar performance which shows over the past 13 Strong Buy Signals there was a 92% Win Ratio.
Given this week has largely been news-driven headlines, which the patterns can't read, we'll see how it works out.

- Short-term Reality: Last 63-Sessions show a +46% edge over the 54% Benchmark on a small count of 3 sessions.
- Medium-Term Reality: Last 158-Sessions show a +15% edge over the 56% Benchmark on a count of 21 sessions.
