Question-

How do I post a YouTube video to this forum ?

Answer -

On the YouTube video that you want to post.
Right Click on the video and either click "copy shortcut or just hit copy" then on this forum hit the option "Insert video" then right click your mouse and hit "Paste".
I hope this helps anyone that would like to post a YouTube video to the forum.

Your page stops my IE every time now. I don't know why but it the only one that doese it.

I am going to try and cut down on the number of videos I post everynight. I will only post the ones that I think are most informative.

Ok I'm slightly pissed here, please allow me to vent. I use the 20 post per page as my default, but even with 10 post per page this freezes up my Fire Fox till the page is fully loaded. Even with my new PC with a modern speed connection it take 30 seconds to load a 10 post page within this thread. Highly UNSAT compared to the previous youtube embedded method used before. I realize Fire Fox & Flash have become hogs lately, but this all started happening after Tom switched over to this new embedded type. Sure it's easier to embedd videos, now a monkey can do it, but it wasn't a good compromise for the very few who embedd You tube videos. Some things should have been left alone and this thread was one of them.

I know exactly what your saying and I'm glad you said it and not me. I don't know really what to do anymore other than deal with it the way it is.

My next step may be just to stop posting the Videos

Not sure what the problem is. As far as I know my preferences are the default settings and PM's videos loaded up right away. Showing 5 in his latest post. Running IE8 here at work. JTH, good luck. Sorry it is so frustrating.

I have a really fast modern computer also running Safari browser with 12gigs of ram and it does the same thing. What's really funny is when I watch the videos on the iPad, it loads up right away! Who knew?

Congrats, you might be the one person who has found something IE does better than Fire Fox.

Loads fine with IE9 at 10 post per page, but slows down at 20!
