Poolman's Account Talk

O.K. For anybody that has read any of my posts you know I am on vacation.

You know I am hooked. I went out and bought a nice $1,000.00 laptop and am hooked up via wireless right out of my pad. Oh Yea ... I am lovin this.

Are we still looking good for this international trade to the I-Fund?

Can someone give me a link to a good site showing all OSM'S tonight?

Thanks ....!!!

P.S. Still not used to a laptop computer if anything looks weird for the next week..

what's an "OSM"? and I'm not sure about the international trade - I've used the spy and efa on a one-month chart and bought in when the I-fund was out of phase (dipped lower), as it had shown more volatility than the SPY and right now that chart is right at the crossover (where spy usually begins to exceed efa) so - - - if recent history repeats itself, it should continue a bit more, before dropping again below the SPY, no promises.....a toss up right now.

When looking at the SPY/EFA crossovers keep in mind that the I fund is heavy on the western European markets...with the Greek bailout these might not be as reliable indicators as they have been. Also, have you checked out currency trends over the past few days? I can't get a solid feel for the I funds direction.

Hello amoeba,

OSM = Over Sea's Markets

Golly, seems like it has been a long time since there was any discussion of the PPT around here... at least that I have read. I guess, according to Danny, they've been doing their job; - until it became overwhelming??
